Nick the Greek always hits the spot for a good to go Greek place, fast too. Could be expensive but the platters are such a good deal or if you want a single wrap this is a good place to satisfy cravings

@nickthegreek - GYRO-ficially my favorite! I can totally understand the hype behind Nick the Greek, and I'm surprised this location doesn't get more love and customers, especially for their incredible deals (which include 50 cent and $3 beers on select days) and super nice + fast service. Nick the Greek specializes in authentic, freshly cooked Greek dishes, and I love how you can choose from an assortment of proteins such as their vertically roasted gyro meats (available in lamb/beef, chicken and pork belly) and souvlaki, and enjoy them in healthy and delicious bowls, plates or pita wraps. You can definitely tell the difference in quality when it comes to the quality of their freshly prepared pita bread and gyro, and I love how they give you generous portions of rice, protein, salad and sides with your order. Make sure to also finish off your meal with their signature froyo, which is made from Greek yogurt and topped with baklava and honey, and seriously one of the best sweet treats I've ever had! Good service. Place seemed clean. The girl working the front was by herself & probably needed help during lunch. The fries were good & fresh. The chicken in the gyro was spiced well. They could've given more meat in the pita. I didn't like the mustard sauce they use on the pita. I'd come back & ask for the regular tzatziki sauce next time.

I love a good gyro! This is exactly that. Was in the Westwood area, walked right in and no wait. Huge space, plenty of seating. Reasonable prices. The beef/lamb gyro is cooked well and full of flavor, decent sizes. Their fries are lightly coated with olive oil, salt, and oregano. Service was fast, very friendly and didn't wait long for the food. I would recommend this spot if you're in the area.

A hidden Greek gem! The beef lamb gyro was the best I've ever had! A great combination of meat that felt light yet nutritious and the fries was an amazing additional touch. My waiter Esther was so enthusiastic to tell me about the popular dish. The service was spectacular thanks to her support and recommendations. The ambiance is chill yet educational. I loved the one wallpaper that had Greek origin words because it taught me that a lot of words in the English language has Greek influence. I look forward to coming back. I recommend everyone try the Greek yogurt and baklava!

So so good! The chicken gyro was so moist and delicious. The nicks fries were AMAZING. Garlicky, crispy, moist meat, so good. We ordered delivery and it was quick and the food arrived hot. Loukoumades were a bit spongy but I liked the sauce. My falafel pita was very good and the falafel does not have the strange taste that some Greek places have. Their tzatziki sauce is good, but not very garlicky. Their hummus was delicious and a perfect serving for two. Would go again!

You feta believe this place is worth a go! Olive for authentic, bona fide Greek food! Gyro not going to regret ordering from here, or dining in. I'm getting fried up just thinking about my next visit! All puns aside, I am so pleased to have tried this place out on a whim. Hefty portions of delectably scrumptious meats, homey and subtle (yet addicting) rice, immaculately flavored fresh Greek fries, and a vibrant salad with authentic feta to bring it all together. I very much look forward to over-eating here again shortly!

We came here this last weekend after walking around Westwood Village. I have heard of this restaurant before, but this was the first time both my friend and I have been here. Saturday. The restaurant itself is actually nice looking, with a fairly large dining area. There was lots of seating available and a short wait for food. We ordered the Gyros sandwich and the Gyros platter. They were both pretty good. I really like Greek food so I am very familiar with the Gyros. They make it with the lamb-beef and also chicken. We both got the lamb style. The portions were pretty good. My platter came with lots of strips of meat with mini pita pieces, rice, and a side salad. His was a large pita wrapped around the meat with some veggies. We both thought they were very good. Not quite a 5/5 but a solid 4. Westwood overall has declined a bit from 20 years ago, but this is a good restaurant in the village.

I've been to this place a lot for lunch and it never disappoints. It's a good amount of food and very filling. I had the Beef Gyro with Greek fries. We also had the gyro plate (chicken and beef, with fries and a salad), and a Greek Frozen yogurt with Baklava and honey. Meat was tender and flavors were good. If you like feta cheese, then you'll like the Greek fries. They all come with Tzatziki sauce, which is very tasty. The frozen yogurt was delicious with the Baklava and honey to finish off your meal. The place is very spacious, ample seating, and clean restrooms. Service is good and they always greet you when you walk in. You might have to wait a small amount of time to get your food, a lot of orders at times, but not too long. Overall I've had great experiences here and so has my stomach! Need a walk after!! Come by for a try! Happy Nom Nom!
